Over 400 people showed up for our first
Backpack and School Supply Giveaway!

This coordinating effort with the Robinson Park
Recreation Center gave kids and their parents the
chance to explore the various after school programs
that are available for the community the majority of
which are either FREE or very low cost.

We couldn't believe it when we found out that a few
people arrived at the event as early as 10:00 AM,
even though this event started at 11:00 AM.
The best part was giving away 200 Backpacks with
School Supplies to the many underprivileged kids in
the community and watch them enjoy Pizza, Pop
Corn, Drinks Arts and Crafts and a Jumper while
checking out the many great after school programs
that are available to the community!
